Jian ZHANG is an Associate Professor of Finance, Associate Director of Institute of Digital Economy and Innovation (IDEI), and MFin Deputy Programme Director at the HKU Business School, University of Hong Kong.

His research interests are household finance, investments, financial institutions, FinTech, real estate, and sustainability.

His work has appeared in the Journal of Financial Economics, Journal of Accounting and Economics, Management Science, Review of Economics and Statistics, Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis, and Review of Finance. He is an Associate Editor of Journal of Business Research.
